Confirmed and effective immediately: CMS has paused Plan Year 2027 registration for agents and brokers who did not have a Plan Year 2026 federal Marketplace agreement. The moratorium runs through February 1, 2027, unless modified or extended. Existing 2026 FFM agents may recertify, and the restriction does not apply to state-based exchanges such as Minnesota or Virginia.
