Lace Up Your Bowling Shoes for a Great Cause!
Join us for our 8th annual Lanes for Lane fundraiser: A night of fun, food, prizes, and more in support of The Lane Thomas Foundation!
Why Your Support Matters
The Lane Thomas Foundation is close to our hearts at OCI. It was established by a family in our local Elkhorn community in remembrance of their son, serving as an enduring way to remember the light and hope he brought to the world.
Similar to how OCI works with agents who help people in covering all things medical when accidents happen, The Lane Thomas Foundation assists families of children undergoing life-saving organ transplants with all the non-medical costs, allowing them to focus on their child and keeping their family together.
⭐ 100% of all event proceeds go directly to The Lane Thomas Foundation. The foundation is a public 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so your contribution may be tax deductible.

Take the Pledge
Become an advocate for pediatric organ donation by taking the Lane’s Light Pledge. Promise to have discussions with your family, friends, and social networks about pediatric organ donation. Advocate for more awareness about the families of children who need organ donation.
In 2018, of the approximately 115,000 people who are on the waiting list for an organ transplant, nearly 2,000 are children. Having conversations as a family about donating organs before a tragic event happens can help save children’s lives! One organ donor can save up to 8 lives. The families of children on the waiting list are counting on us.
Will you take the pledge with us?
Event History
Lanes for Lane began in 2018 with a simple idea: bring people together to support families facing the unimaginable. Since then, the event has grown each year, culminating in a record-breaking $82,181 raised in 2024 to directly support The Lane Thomas Foundation.
The foundation was created by a local Elkhorn, NE family to honor the life of their two-year old son, Lane Graves, whose sudden and tragic loss in 2016 inspired a mission of compassion and action. It helps families from all over the country traveling to Omaha, NE for pediatric organ transplants by covering the non-medical costs insurance doesn’t. By easing the financial strain these families face, parents are able to focus on and be present for their child’s recovery.
OCI is proud to further our commitment to our community and complement the work of our industry by partnering with The Lane Thomas Foundation.
