Due to the Ambetter/Celtic branding change, Nebraska members who are currently on automatic payment in 2025 will need to make a proactive, one-time January “binder” payment to ensure their enrollments and benefits are active 1/1 (or subsequently 2/1 if enrolling past 12/15). According to Ambetter, automatic payments will then roll over for members’ subsequent months payments. As a precaution, OCI advises that members monitor their automatic payments early in the year to ensure payment is being deducted.
