MyAdvocate Medicare Advantage Gold and MyAdvocate Medicare Advantage Silver plans will operate with CMS-approved enrollment capacity limits for PY27.

Once a plan reaches its approved capacity, it will close to new enrollments until membership declines through normal attrition. Current members are not affected, and applications received before the capacity limit is reached will continue through the normal enrollment process.

The caps are as follows:

  • Gold Plan Cap = 1,000

  • Silver Plan Cap = 2,000

What you need to know:

  • Current members are not affected and will continue to receive their coverage and benefits as usual.
  • Enrollment requests received before a plan reaches capacity will continue through the normal enrollment process, even if the plan reaches capacity while the application is being processed.
  • Enrollment requests received after a plan reaches its approved capacity must be denied.
  • MyAdvocate will not maintain a waiting list, and applications cannot be held for future openings.
  • Individuals denied enrollment because a plan has reached capacity must submit a new application if the plan later reopens and they have a valid election period at that time.
  • Standard commission practices remain unchanged for eligible enrollments.

To help you proactively manage enrollment discussions with prospects, MyAdvocate will notify its brokers as plans reach 50%, 75% and 90% of their approved enrollment capacity. Additional communications will be sent if a plan reaches full enrollment capacity and closes to new enrollments.
